Marketing Strategies for Small Business Part 1
Maintain contact with customers
A strategy to retain or keep customers is to maintain communication with them once we have purchased or have made use of our services.
To do this, first of all we must seek to achieve their personal information such as your name, address, telephone, email, birthday, and enter them in a database.
And then communicate with them, for example, whether the product they arrived at the agreed conditions, to congratulate and thank you for your order to ask how they are doing with the product, or to greet them for any holiday.
By maintaining communication with the customer will remember our brand or company permanently, you will feel important, let you know that we care about him, and eventually allow us to let you know about our new products and promotions.
Use incentives
Another marketing strategy to retain our customers and to attract a larger number of them is to use incentives or promotions.
For example, we could offer a discount to people who print a coupon posted on our website and submit it to us when visiting.
We could give them to our main customers a membership card or VIP card with which they can access certain benefits such as special discounts.
Or, we may use accumulated points card, where customers will earn points as they purchase our products or services, and then, to accumulate a certain number of points can be exchanged for other products.
Use testimonials
The use of testimonials is another marketing strategy that will allow us to reach more customers, and that means higher costs.
To do this in the first place we offer a product or service quality, then ask our major customers to give us some testimony about printing or satisfaction they have had our products or services.
And then publish their accounts in any advertising media we use, whether in our brochures, website, print ads, etc..
The more are the testimonies and the more important or known to be the clients who make them, the better impression made.
