PLANNING
Planning is the process of determining what should be done by the company and how best to do so.
ORGANIZING
Management processes in determining the best way in order to manage resources and activities of the organization, thus becoming a coherent structure.
DIRECTION
Process management direction and motivating employees to comply with efforts to achieve organizational goals.
CONTROL
Is a management process that monitors the performance of the organization to ensure accordance with efforts to achieve organizational goals.

Is the formation of the target, in which organizations and managers to measure success and failure of every level of activity.
The purpose of establishing the organization’s objectives:
- Provide direction and guidance to managers at all levels
- Helps companies allocate the resources, the region where is expected to grow as a top priority.\
- Help establish a corporate culture.
- Assist managers in assessing corporate performance.
Various kinds of targets:
The goal of each company is different depending on the purpose and mission, regardless of this, every company has a goal:
a. long-term
Is the goal to be achieved relatively long time that, in general usually 5 years or more in the future.
b. Medium Term
Is the goal to be achieved a relatively short time, usually 1-5 years in general.
Short Term
Are the objectives to be achieved in a relatively short period of time, in general usually less than 1 year.
STRATEGY FORMULATION
Is the creation of an extensive program to set and achieve organizational goals. Step – step strategy formulation:
Strategic Goal Setting.
Strategic goals are long-term goal straight from a corporate mission statement. Once the strategic objectives established companies usually take a process called SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat). SWOT is a process of identification and analysis of organizational strengths and weaknesses and environmental opportunities and threats as part of strategy formulation.

Environmental analysis is the process of analyzing the business environment of threats and opportunities of the organization. Organizational analysis is the process of analysis of strengths and weaknesses of the company.
Adapt the organization and its environment.
Threats and opportunities to adjust the strengths and weaknesses of the company is the core strategy formulation.
PLANNING LEVELS
I. Strategic planning
Reflecting decisions about resource allocation, corporate priorities and the steps necessary to mencapaitujuan-strategic objectives.
Usually made by the Board of Directors and Managers Summit.
II. Tactical planning
Planning with a shorter range to implement certain aspects of corporate strategic planning that is usually made by the Intermediate Level Manager Top
III. Operational planning
Usually made by middle-level managers to determine target2 short-term targets: daily, weekly and monthly
CRISIS MANAGEMENT AND CONTINGENCY PLANNING
Associated with unpredictable business environment, and can cause major problems are not expected, the company developed two methods of planning:
1. Contingency Planning
Appreciate the need to find a solution on certain problems aspek2
2. crisis Management
Are the methods of organization linked to things POINTS emergency requiring immediate treatment.
Corporate Strategy
The first step in effective management is defining the target (goal) – the purpose (objective) which planned to achieve a business. The goal of business is the expected number of targets and planned to be achieved by the company. Organizational goals can be achieved if companies are able to implement the steps / strategies contained in the plan.
As for the strategies:
- Corporate strategy (corporate strategy)
- Is a strategy to determine the company’s overall attitude toward growth step and the way companies manage business or product line, such as: increasing the activity / investment, including savings.
- Business Strategy (Business / Competitive Strategy)
- The strategy taken at the level of business units / product lines are focused on improving the company’s competitive position.
- Strategy Functional (Functional Strategy)
- The managers in specific areas only decide the best way to achieve corporate objectives by being as productive as possible.
SMEs and Local Development
The review process Each case study involved:
- Diagnostic work to Identify key facts on the local economy, Including an analysis of entrepreneurship performance and description of Economic Development Policies;
An online survey of local FIRMS, focusing on Their performance, skills Levels, and Attitudes Towards business innovation;
- A one-week study visit by an international review panel to discuss policy options with the Challenges and Local Economic key stakeholders;
- Preparation of an Assessment and recommendations report, and;
- A seminar to discuss and Disseminate Findings and start a locally-owned process of building an entrepreneurship and SME action plan.
- The OECD Local Economic and Employment Development (LEED) Programme is recruiting new partners (Such as local and regional governments, Development Agencies, etc..) To Participate In These reviews.

Local components of national SME and entrepreneurship Have Also Been reviews completed in Poland and Croatia . In-progress reviews include Marche (Italy) and Andalusia (Spain).
Preparing to Start a Business to Succeed
The passion for starting a new business is not everything, one must be prepared and do well.
In the Business Week website give us some basic tips to prepare to start our new business idea which I will review and comment:
1. Start saving money today. Every business idea needs money and the first months of initiation of a new business idea not usually make money, hopefully you can have a positive cash flow at 6 to 8 months (obviously this varies according to each project).
We have money saved so we will help people to live up to our idea of a productive business. Start saving today to just have that cushion of support in the first months of launch of your business idea.
2. Make a business plan . It is very important to the business plan for you to evaluate your business idea but also to show it to others who may criticize. Never stop doing this simple plan it but make one.

Tips to Have a Home Office
Many entrepreneurs begin to develop their business ideas from home which is recommended when money is scarce and we must look after the maximum.
